Import / Export Declaration Services
Ge-TS provides services which enable traders to lodge all four types of Import/Export Declaration (TDEC) electronically.
  • Import Declaration Form 1 for imports of non-food items
  • Import Declaration Form 1A for imports of food items only
  • Export/Re-export Declaration Form 2 for exports of Hong Kong made non-clothing and non-footwear items and re-exports
  • Export Declaration Form 2A for exports of Hong Kong made clothing and footwear items only

Our TDEC service serves you in the following ways:
  • Enable importers/exporters to prepare and submit TDEC to Government
  • Validate the information on the TDEC before it is submitted to Government
  • Amend a submitted TDEC as message
  • Deliver Notice of current HS Code, Query and Acknowledgement messages to the importer/exporter concerned
  • Enable importer/exporter to prepare response to Queries or to initiate an amendment of a TDEC already submitted to Government
  • Notify the importer/exporter concerned for transmission failures or failure of validation of the message
  • Unique feature of bar-code fax cover to facilitate fax-in submission of supporting documents from importers/exporters to Government

Dutiable Commodities Permit Service
As a leading value-added e-trading services company, Ge-TS electronic Dutiable Commodities Permit (DCP) service allows traders to apply for various types of DCP electronically. Types of electronic DCPs are:
  • Removal Permit for Duty-Paid Goods (Black Permit)
  • Removal Permit for Dutiable Goods (Green Permit)
  • Export Permit (Red Permit)
  • Ships' Stores Permit (Red Permit)
  • Pass and Vouchers
  • Age Certificate Application
  • Customs Appointment
  • Dutiable Code Application
By using Ge-TS' DCP services, major players involved in the transaction of dutiable goods like traders, warehouse operators and logistics service provider are able to prepare, receive and submit DCPs to Government through our system.
 
Electronic Submission of Cargo Manifests (EMAN) Service
As a licensed service provider for Government Electronic Trading Services, Ge-TS was appointed by the Government on April 11, 2006 to provide electronic cargo manifests (EMAN) service to ocean and river mode carriers from June 16, 2006.
Our EMAN service benefits :
  • 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, round-the-clock service
  • Carriers can lodge their manifests electronically to 3 separate Government Departments (Customs & Excise Department, the Census and Statistics Department and the Trade and Industry Department) all at once though a single submission

Paper-to-Electronic Conversion Service
Ge-TS has been aggressively expanding its business by entering into partnership cooperation with Hongkong Post, Nanyang Commercial Bank and JetsoNet to expand its service locations for the collection of trade declaration forms. At present, Ge-TS boasts a total of 40 service locations throughout Hong Kong. The combined strength positions Ge-TS as the trade declaration provider with the most extensive local service network.

You may submit your paper Trade Declarations, paper Dutiable Commodities Permits or amendments in Ge-TS Form(s) via Ge-TS through our Counter Collection ServiceDrop-in-Box Service or Pick-up Service at various service locations. Ge-TS will convert the information furnished on the paper forms into corresponding electronic message and submit to Government.

Paper conversion service is also available for Dutiable Commodities Permits and Electronic Cargo Manifests at Ge-TS Service Centre.
